Kantha, also spelled kanta or qanta, is a type of embroidery craft in Bangladesh and eastern regions of India, particularly in the Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura and Odisha. The hand made embroidery is done on Tassar, semi Tassar, Khadi, silk sarees. It takes 3-4 months to complete one saree.
